Prequalification Panel​​ - Counsel

The Department of Communities and Justice, Legal (DCJ Legal) maintains a prequalified panel for junior counsel to provide legal representation to the Department of Justice and to assist in coronial inquests and inquiries. The term of the panel is for a period of three years with the panel to be reviewed periodically.

Please note that the right to engage counsel outside of the prequalification panel is reserved and there should be no expectation that appointment to the prequalification panel will generate any work.

Further, the appointment to the Panel is independent of any arrangements with the Crown Solicitor’s Office.
