How finding a home helped Daniel in other areas of his life

Moving out of an overcrowded living situation gave Daniel the room to grow as an independent young person. He’s improved in his education and his sense of belonging.

Home

“When I moved… I felt relief. They found me a transitional property. From there I found a private rental... The Rent Choice I get covers almost half of the rent that I am paying.” Daniel

Education

“It makes my job easier to focus on my studies. I’m studying a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering. I enjoy building things with my hands.” Daniel

Social & community

“I volunteer for Canterbury-Bankstown Council… When you make friends they help you grow as a person. They’re always there for you.” Daniel
