The NSW Government Lawyers Handbook (formerly the In-House Government Lawyers Induction Booklet) is a short guide to assist in-house government lawyers who are new to working in government and to also assist panel law firm staff who are on secondment to a government agency.
It has been compiled to assist in-house government lawyers to operate effectively within government. All lawyers are required to familiarise themselves with all aspects of this booklet rather than limit themselves to what they consider relevant to their current role.
Lawyers are encouraged to provide any suggestions on ways to improve this document to Legal, Department of Communities and Justice at Enquiries-DCJLegal@dcj.nsw.gov.au.
