Working for Corporate Services

You will provide expert advice in the application of psychological principles, methods and evidence-based human resources approaches to assessment processes. This role works independently, though in a team environment, to develop, implement and evaluate strategies.

Role requirements

  • full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • must possess a post-graduate degree at the master's level or higher in a specialist area deemed relevant by the employing Department including, but not limited to, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Counselling Psychology, and Forensic Psychology
  • the post graduate degree must include components of professional training and supervised experience and must be of at least 2 years full time duration or its equivalent; or
  • demonstrated knowledge of, and extensive experience in, as a Specialist Psychologist in using psychometric assessments for selection and development purposes, custom designing assessment centres, work simulation or work sample task content, assessing candidates in behavioural assessments on a range of work-related skills, and providing quality candidate and manager feedback.
