Seniors Christmas Concerts to be streamed live online

5 December 2022

While tickets to the highly popular Seniors Christmas Concerts have already gone, seniors can still watch the concerts free from the comfort of their own home.

Hosted in regional NSW for the past ten years, this year’s Seniors Christmas Concerts will be returning to Nowra on the South Coast.

Minister for Seniors Mark Coure said if seniors missed out on tickets or may be unable to travel to Nowra, they can still watch the concerts live online.

“These concerts are incredibly popular so it is no surprise the tickets were snapped up so quickly,” Mr Coure said.

“We want as many seniors to be able to enjoy the concerts, because they are held to celebrate and thank them for their valued and ongoing contributions to making our state the great place it is today.”

Seniors can live stream the concerts, which will be held on Tuesday 13 December for free by registering online by visiting Humanitix.

Member for South Coast Shelley Hancock said this year’s concerts in Nowra have a great line-up of musical talent, including the likes of Rhonda Burchmore and Rob Mills.

“Joining the performance line-up are operatic tenor Lorenzo Rositano and singer Siobhan Clifford,” Mrs Hancock said.

“With a powerhouse line-up like this, seniors are certainly in for a treat—if seniors can’t make it down here on the day, I encourage those still wanting to watch the concerts to register to watch them online and be set for a great day of live music.”

Further information on how to access the online content will be emailed to participants prior to the event. The concerts will be held on Tuesday 13 December 2022 at 10.30am and 2pm.
