Project objective

Strengthening the workplace to be culturally capable and model inclusive behaviour within Community Services Statewide Services.

The challenge

CSSS staff having an ongoing commitment to being culturally capable

  • Building the knowledge and skills of CSSS workforce to recognise and celebrate difference.
  • Promoting flexible work practices, including the timely completion of workplace adjustments to better support the needs of our diverse employees, including in regional and rostered areas.

Strengthening the workplace to be culturally capable and model inclusive behaviour within Community Services Statewide Services.

What will success look like?

Ongoing commitment to developing cultural capability is included as development goal in all PDPs, contextual to role and its requirements.

PMES results demonstrate an improvement in employee satisfaction in relation to workplace accessibility, including flexible work practices and workplace adjustments.

Leaders and managers are culturally capable and model inclusive behaviour, as measured by PMES.
