The Making a Difference Employee Awards are held annually to recognise and celebrate the exceptional achievements made by staff throughout the year.
Nominations for the 2020 Awards are now open and we want to hear your stories about how our staff have made a difference to you, a family member, client, or someone you know.

Nominate a Department of Communities and Justice employee or team for an award in any of the following categories.
For individuals who have provided exceptional, outcome focused and community centred services that have contributed to better outcomes for citizens. This employee puts people at the centre of all they do and provides exceptional quality services in line with our values.
For teams who have provided exceptional, outcome focused and community centred services that have contributed to better outcomes for citizens. This team puts people at the centre of all they do and provides exceptional quality services in line with our values.
For individuals or teams who have displayed a high degree of cultural capability and exceptional service that led to better outcomes for Aboriginal people, families and communities. They put Aboriginal people at the centre of all they do and provide exceptional quality services to the community in line with our values.
For individuals or teams who have partnered with external organisations to deliver exceptional programs and projects that improve social outcomes and people-centred services. These are employees who build on the quality of relationships and demonstrate respect, inclusiveness and accountability in line with our values.
The Award finalists will receive an invitation to attend the Awards presentation where the winners will be announced. The presentation will be held in early December 2020.
